About Me & Inspired Mommies

Hello my name is Renee, I am the mother of a 4 yr old miracle. He was born 15 weeks early at 1 lb. 10 oz. He is my inspiration for all I do. I know I am not the only mommy that feels this way. Inspired every day by their own precious miracles of life.

I have been married for 15 years to a wonderful man, My dream was to be a mother and raise a family. And it finally has come true. We suffered through many years of infertility, miscarriages, and the loss of two sons due to premature birth, we kept trying and have been so blessed with our beautiful son.

Being premature has caused delays from prematurity as well as autism which he has been getting therapy several times a week since he was 6 months old, that specializes in his needs, speech, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Insurance problems arose when he turned 2, This in turn got me thinking of ways I could bring in some extra money from home. What was meant to be just a small thing on ebay to help pay for his therapy... has broadened into a part time business. I love designing new things. And I really enjoy sewing.

In November of 2005 , I started the Inspired Mommies business. I love being crafty and making things, I take pride in everything I make.  I cherish every moment being a stay at home mommy. I myself could not have lived without my ring sling. He needed to be carried alot, due to severe reflux, and the sling was so perfect, a branch off from the kangaroo care we were giving him in the nicu all those months.
